I know of a few SCAdians who have said that. Me included, kinda… Though I think that I would put alot of thought into making sure it was self sustainable, and that those that took advantage of the grounds also contributed, either by time and effort, or financial input.

Heh. Drunk and asleep in a cloak in the tavern… Good times. *grin* If I won Lotto, I’d be seriously considering building a castle up home, so that I could host my own feasts, and yes, more and more and more SCA involvement. There is never enough.
Speaking of overinvolvement in the SCA, I’d like to talk to you about that Plan we had sometime.
