Oh I am such an idiot… a real sucker for punishment… When I found out on Monday night that something I was hoping to see on Saturday night wasn’t going to happen… I kinda volunteered to help make it happen… Now I’m going to be working flat chat until Saturday trying to live up to that promise.
But there is one good thing… I do enjoy it.
Now I just need to get the Double back-to-back “R”s to pour correctly, and then do a production run of 24 of those, find some wire and make 100 links big enough.
Oh what a wonderful time we will be having at Rowany 25.
I’m really looking forward to it.
They look so good – the effort really pays off! (Punishment or not).
I laughed when I saw the ‘haul’, though. I know what you’ll be doing at 10.59am, in the run up to the tourney… if not in the last moments before the feast. And to think I was worried about bringing handsewing with me to do at the last minute on your couch! Naaa. What else would you expect from a Scadian. I’ve packed it already.
WHen you get a sec, maybe have a squiz at the metal casting guy from the Bornholm Middleages centre on Flickr. He was casting tin, and he had the whole bellows-fired production line going on at his market stall. Was good stuff.
Dude…you’re awesome!
I would seriously love to learn how to do that. Wanna trade? I’ll teach you silk banners…
very very cool!
Anytime… I have been concidering running a Pewtering workshop at my place on Friday nights. I know… Friday isn’t the best night to be doing it, but it means that if things go for quite some time, then I at least don’t have work the next day.
I’ll sort something out.
Dude, I’m so in for that!
Cool… I’ll do some working out, and get something organised.
WOW! They look brilliant. Erm … S … would you like to do more chains at some point? I have cash, wool, stitching abilities …
Sure… Come and find me at the tourney on Saturday, and we shall discuss.
Cash… Meh… Wool and Stitching ability.. Cher ching!!! I’m always looking for Garb… One day I might actually turn up to an event in something slightly differant than my standard Red pants and Green tunics.
