Ok, so I have now watched all of Battlestar Galactica as well as the Pilot of the new prequel series Caprica.  I’m guessing that there is something missing in my memory of the first series of Battlestar…  Going to talk about it all in more detail below, so if you haven’t seen it and don’t want to know what’s going on, please don’t click more.

Ok, so where my memory starts to fade out is where the connection is between the Cylons that are Built on Caprica and then come back to destroy it 40 years later, and the Human and Centurian Cylons are…

I guessing that when the robotic cylons left Caprica they found the Cylons that were thousands of years old and discovered that this had all happened before?  Yet humanity had to rebuild from nothing much like at the end of the BSG series?  I guess it all fits, but I just couldn’t help sitting here whilst watching Caprica the pilot movie, thinking that it didn’t make sense.

In some ways it still doesn’t for me, after all why was John’s hatred for Humanity so intense?  Why after thousands of years could he still have a desire to wipe out humanity entirely?  I disagree that that is more of a human trait as Helen indicated…  Hmmm, the more I think about it all…  the more it makes sense, but it’s just that there seems to be alot of well, overlapping muddlement that means you really do need to sit down and think it all out…  Might be worth watching the entire series again.

Maybe Caprica will be exciting and worth watching when the Series actually starts…
